Research Statement:

My research was focused on using remote sensing methods via drones and GPS systems to accurately measure water remotely. I am very interested in sustainable water practices and understand just how important they are within Idaho and the agriculture industry.

Research Impact:

Idaho is undergoing issues regarding water scarcity, and will continue to see issues regarding water in the future. Using remote methods of measuring water flows offers an efficient way for water managers and hydrologists to quickly and accurately collect data while using minimally invasive and safe methods of hydrology data collection.
