DEPSCoR seeks to improve the research capabilities at institutions of higher education to perform basic research in science and engineering that is relevant to the DoD mission and priorities.
The RC program seeks proposals in the following topic areas: space biosciences; dynamic data and information processing; condensed matter physics; aerodynamic sciences; Earth materials and processes; dynamical influences on performance; wireless communications networks; electrochemistry; nonlinear transforms for dynamical systems; social cognition in local communities; fundamental mechanisms and materials for shock mitigation for warfighter protection; and fundamental research on efficient packaging and deployment of unmanned aircraft systems.
Award:
Up to $600K for up to 3 years
