Research Statement:

Focuses on the importance of drought-tolerant plants in Idaho. Will work in collaboration with the Orton Botanical Garden in order to learn about the plants that we have in the garden in order to educate the public about the impact of desert plants.

Research Impact:

In Idaho, we are experiencing a severe drought. By educating the public about ways that they can make their gardens look nice without all the extra water usage, we can make Idaho a better place that is aware of the excessive amount of water needed for green lawns.
