David Barneby

David Barneby is a retired utility industry executive with 35 years of engineering and management experience. He received a mechanical engineering degree from California State Polytechnic University. Most recently, he was vice president, Generation, for Nevada Power Company and Sierra Pacific Power Company. Barneby has been a resident of Twin Falls, Idaho, since he retired in 2001. He has served on the Industry Advisory Council for the colleges of engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and California State Polytechnic University.
